Promoting Healthy Schools
The Nursery School will continue to support healthy
lifestyle and healthy eating throughout the curriculum.
Lending Library - All children in the
Nursery School can borrow a book each week.
Storysack Library - Parents who have
attended an information session can borrow a Storysack each week.
The sacks are designed to encourage parents to interact with their
children and discover the wonderful world of story telling, which
in turn will instill in their children an interest in books at an
early age and help children to become lifelong readers. The sacks
may contain a storybook, a fictional book, a puppet and a game.

Cross Community Project
Since 1992 we have participated in a cross community project
with the other Nursery School in Antrim. Over the years the
project has developed and we have built up many strong and
lasting relationships.
The project has developed to involve CRIS as explained in
"What's New" Unfortunately there is no funding available for
trips this year, but we have organised visits to each others
schools and celebrated Christmas together on Monday 13th Dec
'10 at a performance by some members of the Ulster Orchestra
"Jingle All the Way".
Mr Hullabaloo - Children's interactive Theatre Friday 16th
December 2011 and 15th June 2012 are other events where we will
meet up.
